BIOGRAPHY
ONCE UPON A TIME ...........
Members of the MENTAL HEALTH beat band were born, inflated, and will eventually deflate.
A BIT MORE DETAIL ...........
MENTAL HEALTH is a sporadic music project spanning more than a quarter of a century. Its incarnations have included a gigging band during the early / mid 1980's and (following a break-down and respite care) the early 1990's. Audiences tended to be left elated or bewildered or both (but never bored). Record companies wouldn't touch MENTAL HEALTH with a bargepole. An album was never recorded back then, because the band was skint.

2006 saw MENTAL HEALTH frontman Simon Le Boggit remix the David Byrne / Brian Eno track Help Me Somebody from their classic album My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts. Featuring George W. Bush rapping and singing, “BUSH OF GEORGE” topped both charts on the Bush Of Ghosts Remixed website. Comments from bloggers throughout the world included: "hilarious!", "fiendishly awe inspiring", "priceless" and "a clever, funny, angry and seriously infectious remix". Blimey!
