VIDEOS
This no-budget video is singer / songwriter / guitarer Simon Le Boggit's first animation (he did once stick Sarah Palin's head onto Betty Boop's body, but he's not sure that counts). Massive thanks to all the tremendously talented CGI software and model creators around the world, who so generously made their creations available for free use.

QUANTUM SOUP ORCHESTRA
Strictly speaking, this is not a MENTAL HEALTH project, but it can crash out here on the settee for the time being.
QUANTUM SOUP ORCHESTRA is the brainchild of composer Simon Le Boggit. Drawing inspiration from two sources - the glorious cacophony of an orchestra tuning up prior to a performance, and the rapturous cascade of church bells - this music has been generated by feeding random numbers through a network of mathematical algorithms. The emergent melodies and harmonies, and spontaneous syncopation, can be surprisingly beautiful and "human"! The project’s expansion into video attempts to visually reflect the eerily organic aspects of “apparent intention” - in which form, meaning and beauty appear to spring from mindless chaos, repetition and mutation. http://quantumsouporchestra.weebly.com |
